We had a great time at Bison Ridge this past week!  Our cabin was terrific and made our stay extra nice.  We especially like the fact that there is such nice hiking right out our doorstep so we don't even have to drive anywhere for our morning and evening walks (my dog and me)!  The cabin was cozy and very complete -- the little washer and dryer was a nice touch so we didn't have to go home with all dirty clothes.  The back deck was a great place to read after our tromping was done.

Love Love Love this cabin. Is there anyone who would be able to tell me what colors were used on the wall in the front room??? So gorgeous. Also...the blinds on the sliding door...so love them. And last but not least...the floor is fantastic :-). Anyone have details on what was used??? And love the dishes!  Any idea where we can buy them. Cabin is amazing. Also... Brought a girls and boys toy and have put them in top of the fridge.

Thanks for your excellent recommendation. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay at Nelligan's Hollow any more than we did. The home is very nice and well set up. The setting is spectacular. We especially enjoyed the walks in this beautiful and serene neighborhood. We look forward to coming back soon.

Thanks so much for your response.  Yes we will be returning to the Tree House, it is just the best place we've ever stayed.  My husband is an early riser, really early and the separate areas allow me to sleep while he reads or has coffee, I love it.  So comfortable and relaxing.  When I first arrived the house felt so clean (as it did last year as well) I wished I could have your housekeepers here in Tucson.  And yes, please tell the owners the money they spent on upgrades was much appreciated (and lovely as well).

Cool Mountain Staff:
What can we say?  We loved the Swaying Pines retreat and indeed the pines really do sway.  Do not believe the news media, the White Mountains are alive and green.  We ventured over to Greer, Sunrise ski lift (360 view of the Mogollon Rim), Big Lake and Springerville.  The firefighters did an excellent job limiting the impact to the beautiful and breathtaking countryside.  We even took the white knuckle drive over to Globe and experienced the next best thing after the Grand Canyon, the Salt River Canyon (WOW). The  great folks with Cool Mountain made it all possible with a most convenient location from which to take a hike (just around the corner) into the National Forest and day trips all over eastern Arizona.  The cabin was comfy and well-stocked and what we forgot to pack was readily available at the Safeway nearby. The views and nature right outside your door on the back deck were amazing.  Just listening to the sounds of nature (critters, wind, thunder, rain) were memories we will treasure.

Just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your great cabin! We had a terrific time and would definately rent from you again if we ever get back to ShoLow.

Thank you for letting Andrea and I stay in your cabin for the past three days. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very comfortable, roomy and exceeded our expectations. We went to big lake on Wednesday and spent the day there. Had a couple of bites without fish, but that was okay. We have lived in Arizona nearly 14 years now and have never seen the White Mountains. (Beautiful) We tried to leave the cabin in a very clean condition.  We got to see a coyote, elk, bald eagles, and lots of hawks while up there. Thank you again. Blessings to you and your family.

Wow!  Show Low is a big town now!  (I bought my "mini ranch" in 1975.)

The cabin was very clean; just as described.  I'm a certified chef, and was pleased that everything I needed was available in the well-appointed kitchen.  Bison Ridge is a real nice, friendly neighborhood.  The cabin was a great value.  We enjoyed ourselves very much.

We just got back from an AMAZING weekend with you in the pines, Our family stayed in the Tatanka Retreat and may I say WOW, It was not only super clean but also very well decorated, and stocked with all the comforts of home....and more...the beds were so comfy and the couch was the perfect place  to nuzzle up and take an afternoon nap!  The back patio was very nice as well, we loved the BBQ grill and the 2 sets of table and chairs...and what a great view. Our afternoons were filled with walks in nature, or even down to the private park, and 1 day we went down to fool hollow lake! Everything was so close, but far enough that we felt we were away from it all!!

 I wanted to send a thank you from our family for one of the best New Years we could have had, the look out cabin was everything we could have wanted and more with all that new snow.  There was absolutely nothing like being snowed in with your family enjoying the many games and amazing fireplace the cabin had.  Having every amenity from the extra blankets, pots and pans and all the needed firewood was fantastic.  You’re flexibly to allow us to check in early to beat the incoming storm was a big help to us. Your business truly gave our family the trip we were hoping for.   The views from the lookout cabin were unbelievable with the snow falling and fresh power every morning to greet us; we had the most beautiful views we have seen.  Your kindness and true hospitality is the reason we will continue to plan our vacations and ski trips with Cool Mountain Vacations.  Thank you so very much.

That sounds amazing! We will work on planning another trip. We were already working on a Flagstaff trip so we'll make adjustments. We do a lot of vacation rentals and really make note of the added hospitality. Customer service is not dead in Show Low! Which sites do you have reviews on? We'll make sure to give you a great review.

Hello Tiffani and Kevin,

Wanted to share with you what a great time we had in the “Graham Get-A-Way” cabin.  We loved the accommodations.  It is such a comfortable home.  My mom and dad have a summer place in Showlow.  Also, my brother and his wife were there from Wisconsin visiting my parents so we had everyone over Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening for a BBQ. The back deck and patio were perfect for entertaining.  We definitely want to rent that cabin the next time we come up.  We wish we had known about this cabin earlier this year.  We stayed several times this summer at Lake of the Woods and although the owners are fantastic people, the cabins are rather old and not updated.  We actually paid more for them than if we had rented with you folks.  Believe me, you have our business from now on. 

Please tell the cleaning people that I vacuumed and swept the floors and dusted the furniture before leaving.  I put the beautiful master bedroom bedspreads in the master closet upon arrival as we had brought our own blankets and pillows.

We just arrived home and I wanted to take a moment to drop you a note. Our stay at the Bear Club cabin has been an excellent experience. The customer service that your company represents is unmatched and has added greatly to our enjoyment over the last few days. Allowing us a late checkout after the Xterra race was invaluable. You also referred us to JP at the Equestrian Center and their service there was outstanding as well. I have a handicapped daughter and they took the time to saddle different horses until they found one that she could get on, they then cheered for her. Overall, I must say that our trip to Show Low has been one of the best family vacations that we have taken. Due to this we will certainly be returning for the race next year and we plan to book with Cool Mountain Vacations as soon as the dates are out! We are even considering a winter trip before then. We will be sharing our experience with friends and family.

My family and I just got back from a wonderful 4 day vacation. We stayed in the 'tree house' cabin, and loooved it!! It was nice and clean, well furnished... I was evenly pleasantly surprised to see that there was blender, a coffee maker- even a blow dryer! My family and I have decided to make our trip up North an annual get-away and we will definitely be booking through you from now on. Thanks for everything!

I just wanted to write a note to say thank you for the wonderful stay at Bison Ridge.  The house was beautiful and very roomy with all that one would ask for in a vacation home.  With five teenagers, we were able to enjoy great family meals, watch the Olympics, and snowboard until our legs gave out.  The trip was a huge success and everyone had
a ball.  We sure appreciate everything you were able to work ou, and we will for sure return and refer our friends and family to stay with you.  Thanks again and what a great place to enjoy the AZ snow.

I wanted to email you and tell you Thank You so much for a wonderful Holiday vacation. I have to be honest and tell you that in the back of my mind I kept thinking that this was all to good to be true. Everything from booking the cabin to you calling me back and being so helpful all seemed to be to good and easy .... I thought for a minute we would get up there and it would all be a joke ... Well for sure no joke.... it all came true and more .... the cabin was awesome ... we had an amazing Turkey dinner and the kitchen had everything. The kids loved playing at the park, going for hikes and drinking hot cocoa by the fire. We also enjoyed horseback riding (JP was great) and the recreation center was a blast ! On our final day we woke up to a light dusting of snow, which was the icing on our vacation .... Thanks for everything ... We will be back !

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know we had the BEST vacation EVER! The cabin was GORGEOUS and we felt like it was our home! The kids had a blast just playing in the back, which was such a change from them wanting to watch tv all day long! My husband and I go up to show low every year, and we will use your cabin every time we are there! I enjoyed myself so much I may take a few days off next fall to join my hubby when he goes hunting…he can camp, I will be in the cabin!lol
